- Recruitment and Preparation Package: RM15,000

- Malaysia Handling Fee: RM4,800

The total placement cost is RM19,800

2. How is the payment made?

The payment is divided into two stages.

First Payment – RM9,900

Payable after you select your preferred candidate.

Second Payment – RM9,900

Payable once the Calling Visa is issued and the worker’s deployment proceeds.

This structure ensures that the placement process progresses smoothly through each stage.

3. How long does the process take?

The full process typically takes approximately three to four months, depending on regulatory approvals in Malaysia and the worker’s country of origin.

During this time, the worker completes documentation preparation, training, medical screening, and immigration processing before deployment.

4. Can I choose the domestic worker myself?

Yes. Employers may review candidate profiles and conduct interviews before making a final selection.

Once you confirm your chosen candidate, the recruitment and processing will begin for that specific worker.

5. What preparation do workers receive before arriving in Malaysia?

Before deployment, each worker undergoes structured preparation to ensure readiness for employment.

This preparation typically includes:

  • Verification of personal and employment documentation
  • Medical screening
  • Structured domestic work training
  • Skills assessment and psychological evaluation
  • Pre-departure orientation

Training usually lasts three to five weeks.

6. What happens if the worker runs away?

The Alomaid Connect Standard Package includes one-time replacement coverage.

If the worker absconds within six months of arrival, Alomaid will arrange a replacement worker.

In this situation, the recruitment package remains covered, and the employer only needs to pay the Malaysia Handling Fee (RM4,800) for the replacement worker.

7. What other situations are covered under the replacement policy?

Replacement may also be provided if the worker experiences:

  • Severe misconduct
  • Inability to perform assigned duties
  • Health complications preventing employment
  • Irreconcilable differences between employer and worker
  • Safety or welfare concerns
  • Legal or regulatory barriers affecting employment
  • Mutual termination of the employment contract

These situations are covered within three months from the worker’s arrival, except for abscondment which is covered for six months.

Replacement coverage applies once within the coverage period.

8. What happens if the worker fails the medical screening in Malaysia?

Domestic workers are required to undergo medical screening after arriving in Malaysia.

If the worker is deemed medically unfit for employment, Alomaid will assist with arranging a replacement worker in accordance with the package’s replacement policy.

In such cases, the recruitment package remains covered and only the Malaysia Handling Fee for the replacement worker will apply.

9. What does the Malaysia Handling Fee cover?

The RM4,800 Handling Fee covers services provided in Malaysia by Agensi Pekerjaan Alomaid, including:

  • One-way flight ticket to Kuala Lumpur International Airport
  • Medical screening in Malaysia
  • Work permit processing
  • Immigration and labour department submissions
  • Visa processing
  • Arrival clearance procedures at the airport
  • Administrative and documentation processing

10. Will Alomaid assist after the worker arrives?

Yes. Alomaid provides support during the early employment period.

If issues arise, our team will assist employers with guidance, mediation where appropriate, and replacement arrangements where applicable under the package coverage.

11. Why is hiring through a licensed agency important?

Hiring through a licensed agency ensures that the domestic worker is recruited, trained, and deployed through a legal and regulated process.

This protects both employers and workers by ensuring that all required documentation, immigration procedures, and employment regulations are properly followed.

Unregulated recruitment channels may appear cheaper but often carry higher risks, including legal complications and lack of worker preparation.

12. What happens if I change my mind after selecting a candidate?

If you change your mind early in the process, Alomaid will try to assist you in selecting another candidate where possible.

However, once recruitment and regulatory processing have begun, certain costs may already have been incurred. Our consultants will explain the process clearly before any payment is made.

13. Can the domestic worker cook and perform household duties?

Workers undergo structured domestic work training prior to deployment, which typically includes:

  • Household cleaning and home management
  • Cooking and kitchen hygiene
  • Basic childcare support
  • Basic elderly care support
  • Workplace discipline and communication

This preparation helps ensure that workers are ready to support the daily needs of a Malaysian household.

14. What makes Alomaid different?

Alomaid focuses on transparent and ethical recruitment.

Every worker undergoes proper preparation, documentation, and training before deployment. This helps ensure a more reliable employment experience while supporting fair and responsible recruitment practices.
